2016 ClearMark Award of Distinction

On Tuesday May 10th, 2016 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, GV CERV Communications (a health literacy design studio in NJ) was awarded the “ClearMark Award of Distinction for the Health Insurance: Questions and Answers brochure developed in liaison with the Institute of Healthcare Advancement (IHA) of La Habra, California. IHA was awarded the ClearMark Awards of Distinction for “Best Original, Long” document. It was an honor to have been among some of the leading experts specializing in plain language from web to print. In addition, the workshop presented by David Berman, the world known expert on e-accessibility and inclusive interface design, was invaluable to all of the attendees..

A big thanks to the chair, Susan Kleimann, PhD and the board of directors of the Center for Plain Language for making the 7th Annual ClearMark Awards a memorable experience..
